Zorbing
The OGO is a 3 metre transparent sphere lovingly constructed from over 100 square metres of plastic, little anchors, multi-coloured strings and endless hours of welding, glueing and tieing combined with sweat, tears and billions of teensy little kisses to make a beautiful big ball that you can jump inside and roll down a hill.
Oakfire’s OGO Park is our very own play-paddock where we spend our days rolling down our purpose built double track.
You can roll down the hill in either our Harnessed OGO or in our warm water filled H2OGO. If you are VERY lucky and ask VERY nicely, you may be able to persuade our staff to stop playing in the OGOs briefly and allow you to have a turn.
Q. Is it open all year round?
We try to keep the OGO's open all year round, but during the winter period when it is frosty and things freeze we have to cancel. Our OGO's are also affected by wind as the sphere acts just like a sail, when speeds get above 22mph / 35 kph then for safety reasons we have to cancel, sorry :(
Q: I had a pretty big night last night and need a hangover-over...got anything you can recommend?
Try our H2OGO with cold water...you'll be back on your feet in no time!
Q: I've heard Zorbing is an experience you just can't miss, but how long is the ride?
The length of the ride is totally site dependent, although we would say approximately 30seconds in length – but it will be one of the best 30seconds of your life.
Q: I've heard you can get pretty wet in the H2OGO, what do I need to wear?
It can get pretty wet in there, luckily you can rent either a pair of shorts or a t-shirt or both. That way you have nice dry clothes to get into afterwards. If you're on a tight budget, you can simply bring along your own gear and use them.
Q. Are there restrictions?
